Pace McConkie ’87 founder and director of the Robert M. Bell Center for Civil Rights in Education at Morgan State University

Civil rights attorney Pace McConkie is a past recipient of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s Attorney of the Year Award and served as an assistant attorney general of Maryland and as counsel for the NAACP. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah prior to receiving his law degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law.
