Julie Adams ’46 – in Memoriam

As many of you may have heard, Hollywood actress Julie Adams passed away this weekend. Ms. Adams performed in film, television and stage for more than six decades. She is widely remembered for her roll in the 1954 version of “Creatue From the Black Lagoon.”
A graduate of Little Rock Junior College, the UA Little Rock Alumni Association award her with the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2013.

Dr. Jay Raphael, then chair of UA Little Rock Theatre Arts and Dance, interviewed Ms. Adams in the Haslip Theatre about her career in movies and television. UALRTV recorded the interview as part of our “A Conversation With….” series.

In honor of Julie Adams, I am including a link to that program. She was a charming interview and you can clearly see why she became a star.
