Managing Conflict Positively as a Transformational Leader
Dr. Linda Pledger (Ph.D., University of Arkansas at Little Rock), Professor emeritus at UA Little Rock, has over three decades of experience in consulting, facilitating and teaching in the areas of leadership development, emotional intelligence, crucial conversations/accountability, generational issues, diversity, and conflict management, as well as many other areas of interpersonal and organizational communication. She has conducted national, regional, state and local workshops for dozens of health, industry, banking, and government organizations, including the IRS, AmeriCorps, National Association of Social Work, National Communication Association, Region’s Bank, L’Oreal, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She was resented the UALR Excellence in Teaching Award, selected by a national panel and given to one UA Little Rock faculty member each year.
