During the summer of 2023 a group of students from the UA Little Rock School of Art and Design went to Paris as part of the Paris Studio Experience class, taught by Assistant Professor of Painting Krista Schoening. While in Paris students visited museums, galleries, public spaces, and historic monuments, sketching and learning from contemporary and historical artworks. Artworks on exhibit will be made either during their studies in Paris or in direct response to what they learned. This study abroad experience was made possible in part by a generous gift from Dr. Ann Maners and Dr. Alex Pappas.
