Prior Learning Assessment at UA Little Rock

During Summer 2019, the Provost’s Office convened a group of faculty and staff to explore the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.

With PLA, we can use assessment to bear on UA Little Rock’s mission of improving students’ lives by shortening time to degree completion and contributing to a student’s sense of belonging on a college campus by validating their prior learning.
