    Jeffrey E. Nash is Professor and chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has taught at Tulsa University, Macalester College, and he was department head at Missouri State University. He has conducted research and published on a wide range of public places, pets, games children play, race relationships, and various leisure time activities. His latest project explores the expression of emotionality among men through the signing of barbershop harmony. Titles of some of his publications include
