Bios

Dr. Rebecca Glazier joined the political science faculty and UALR in 2009, after completing her PhD at the University of California Santa Barbara. Dr. Glazier’s research agenda is focused on issues of religion, farming, and U.S. foreign policy. She has published articles and book chapters on political Islam, religiously-motivated violence in Iraq, and just war theory. Dr. Glazier also studies the scholarship of teaching and learning and her work has been presented at multiple conferences and featured on the Chronicle of Higher Education’s website. Dr. Glazier teaches Introduction to Political Science, International Relations, American foreign Policy, Religion and International Relations, and the US War on Terror.
