ATLE Webinar: Scholarship of Teaching

February 20, 2020 at 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm

Soup to Nuts: Key Questions for Designing a SoTL Project from Start to Finish

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects can seem overwhelming, especially when you are trying to implement them in the midst of other teaching and research obligations. In this webinar, Dr. Katie Linder will provide a set of key questions that will help you to design a SoTL project that is both meaningful and realistic given other responsibilities on your plate. Participants will have an opportunity to explore and ask questions about navigating the IRB process, narrowing to a research question, choosing SoTL research designs, mapping evidence, creating a data analysis plan, and crafting a project timeline.

All faculty are encouraged and invited to attend. There are 2 options to participate in this event: (1) You can join us virtually through this link; or (2) you can come to Dickinson Hall 101 and join the conversation in person. No food will be provided for this event, but participating in it will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award. Please, RSVP by filling in this online form.
