ATLE Lunch & Learn: Substantive Contact in Online Teaching

12:00 – 1:00 pm (please arrive by 11:45 am for lunch)

This lunch and learn event will be an opportunity for faculty to learn about engaging online teaching presence in an interactive teaching setting. The room for this event will be in EIT 217, which is equipped with enhanced technology that provides live webinar ability with 2-way audio and visual.

Panelists include:
  • Liz Pierce, Chair and Associate Professor of Information Science
  • Cori Schmidtbauer, Instructional Designer in Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR)
  • Kristin McIntyre, Associate Professor and Director of the Communication Skill Center, Department of Applied Communication
All faculty (full-time, part-time, retired, emeritus) are encouraged and invited to attend! Lunch will be provided to all participants, and this event will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award.
