Ready to pursue a career in an allied health specialty? You can earn your Associate of Arts in General Studies at our Benton campus and then transfer to UAMS to complete your bachelor’s degree.
You have seven degree programs to choose from: cytotechnology, dental hygiene, medical laboratory science, nuclear medicine imaging sciences, ophthalmic medical technology, radiologic imaging sciences, and respiratory care.

All of the UAMS degree options are full-time programs in high-demand fields.
The cytotechnology program and nuclear medicine imaging sciences program can both be completed in one year at UAMS. Nuclear medicine imaging sciences is an online only program.
Students in the 2+2 program must maintain a 2.5 GPA in the Associate of Arts in General Studies program and gain admission to UAMS.
