Outreach and Collaboration – University Program Council (Emily Cox)

During the 2014-2015 academic year, Emily Cox and the University Program Council collaborated with various on- and off-campus entities to promote a variety of programs. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Served on the Campus Safety Planning Committee and cosponsored the “Rape Documentary” event in September 2014
  • Served on the Trojan Daze Committee and helped plan opening activities for the fall semester
  • Presented Trojan Daze information during Resident Assistant training
  • Presented a UALR Teach Class about getting involved on campus in April 2015
  • Partnered with UALR Faculty during Diversity Week 2015 to present “The Cherokee Word for Water”
  • Served as a Campus Campaign Ambassador for the 2014-2015 academic year
  • University Program Council partnered with the UALR Non-Traditional Student Program and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance student organization for a Clothing Drive in March and April 2015
