The Education Minor prepares candidates to teach content-specific areas in grades 7 – 12 (K-12 for art, foreign language (Spanish or French), music, physical education. Students interested in teaching in education in Arkansas must be licensed by the state in a particular subject area. UALR programs in teacher education are designed to prepare students for licensure.
