Jonathan Farrar is originally from Plainville, Connecticut, but he moved to the tiny town of Floral, Arkansas when he was in the second grade.

After graduating high school, Jonathan attended Lyon College where he briefly played baseball and was involved in Greek life.  In 2015, Jonathan graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in psychology.  After determining medical school was not what he wanted to pursue, Jonathan used his experience as a college ambassador to start a job as a college admissions counselor at UACCB while starting his Master of Science in College Student Personnel Services at Arkansas State University.

After completing his master’s degree, Jonathan was hired to be an academic advisor at UACCB.  Now, Jonathan is currently working on his doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of the Cumberlands and serves as the Associate Director of Athletic Academics at UA Little Rock.  When Jonathan is not working, he enjoys watching and playing sports, hiking, kayaking, and most of all traveling and spending time with his wife Francesca.  Jonathan uses both his personal experiences and degrees to help relate to students and help them find their passions!
