We are looking for passionate, reliable, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to become a part of our volunteer team! Volunteers are an important part of the CI Family and help us extend our reach even further! We appreciate each and everyone of our volunteers, and love the difference that they make! From assisting families in our office to mentoring and tutoring children and youth, there is something for everyone!
We require our volunteers to serve a minimum of 2 hours a week for at least 4 weeks. Our shifts range depending on the volunteer area you are interested in. Due to the fact that we work with children and youth, the majority of our volunteer opportunities are for afternoons/early evenings. We only offer one-time volunteer opportunities for family nights/special events.
We currently have openings for:
Learning Programs- Help lead educational activities, homework help, and more!
Health Programs- Provide support for Dental, Health, & Nutrition programs.
CI Ambassadors- Work with families to tell them more about programs, and assist with recruitment and participation.
To become a volunteer is simple! Once you complete your Volunteer Application, we will begin the volunteer screening process. For the safety and protection of our families, all volunteers are subject to a background check. The application and training process can take anywhere from 7-14 days. Once you have been screened, you will be connected with a Program Coordinator to start your journey as a CI Volunteer!
