Volunteer

thepowerofeveryone3
We are committed to unleashing the power of (every) one!
We are always in need of people willing to use their time and talents to make the difference in the life of a child. From assisting families in our Sponsor Relations department to mentoring and tutoring children and youth, there is something for everyone!

Current Volunteer Openings

Achieve Afterschool Support- We are looking for volunteers 18 years or older to assist teachers, mentor children, and help bring the spirit to our programs!
Children need help with academics, activities, as well as field trips! This requires 1-2 hours a week for at least 5 weeks due to the nature of our programs.

Bilingual Support- We are always looking for bilingual volunteers to help us communicate with our families, distribute information, and strengthen our relationships.

Phone Bank Support- Help us stay connected with our families by assisting with our phone bank. We are trying to strengthen our communications and relationships with our families and you can help us make that happen!

Winterfest Crew- We are looking for help at registration, passing out winter gifts, and assisting children with completing their requirements.
We are asking for volunteers to sign up to serve 8:45 am to 12:45 pm on December 8th, 2018.

Due to the nature of our organization, we cannot accept drop-in volunteers and need at least a one week notice for those interested in volunteering.

If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Stephanie Jones, at  spjones@ualr.edu for more information.
