Constitution Day, formerly known as Citizenship Day, is observed on Sept. 17 every year in observation of the day the Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787. In CLC, we observe this day by incorporating it in our 2K13K Food Drive.
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, we will collect cans and donations in return for apple pie and ice cream, a classic American treat. We also celebrate the festivities by having mini constitutions to pass out, a DJ, and even voter registration forms available to be filled out. We will even mail them for you!
To receive apple pie and ice cream we ask for four non-perishable food items or $1 (no checks).
You can find us at the tables between the DSC Food Court and the Diamond Cafe from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
