Accounting students win combined $2,200 prize from Wiley CPA review program

Dorthea Vazquez accepting awardOn March 3, 2020, two students attending a meeting of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) chapter were presented with awards from the Wiley CPAexcel representative Karen Reetz.  BAP/Accounting Society member, Dorthea Vazquez, and Auditing student, Jessica Johnson, each won enrollments in the Wiley CPA exam review course, a combined prize worth $2,200. These courses are designed to provide students with information about how to prepare for and pass the Certified Public Accountant exam. Dr. Kyleen Prewett, Associate Professor of Accounting at the UA Little Rock College of Business, elaborated on the value of the prizes by adding, “Former review course winners say that such a course is invaluable in their efforts to study for the exam.”
