Students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher who have completed 60 degree hours or more will be invited to join this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slc-intl.org\/\">international honor society<\/a> for construction leaders. Students are required to take 18 credit hours of approved construction management courses to obtain the minor. Any student at UA Little Rock can declare a major or minor in construction management. The ACCE is recognized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chea.org\/\">Council for Higher Education Accreditation<\/a> as the national accrediting agency for four-year baccalaureate programs in construction education. Accreditation recognizes educational institutions that achieve and maintain a level of performance, integrity and quality that entitles them to the confidence of the educational community and the public served. Areas we will work to improve include surveying, risk management, and project control processes. With our Industry Advisory Board, we will see how we can improve the perception of these outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/member.aic-builds.org\/page\/AC_Certification\">AC Exam<\/a> is used as a direct assessment. We have done well in recent exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study was done as a part of our<a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/constructionmanagement\/accreditation\/\"> accreditation process<\/a>. These student activities provide workplace experience and an opportunity to network with others in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/constructionmanagement\/student-competitions\/\">Student Competitions<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/constructionmanagement\/organizations\/\">Student Organizations and Honor Organizations<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-work-requirement\">Work Requirement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All students pursuing an undergraduate degree in our department are required to complete 800 hours of work experience in an approved construction-related activity.
