UALR faculty to present racial justice research

The Institute on Race and Ethnicity at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will hold its first research colloquium at noon Tuesday, April 29, in the Leadership Lounge in the Donaghey Student Center.

The colloquium is free and open to public. Lunch will be provided. Registration for the Research Colloquium is now closed.  For questions, email or call 501-569-8932.

Last spring the Institute launched a research grant competition inviting proposals for research in order to collect sound data specific to Arkansas that can help inform public policy decisions. The Institute awarded several grants to faculty and graduate students across disciplines.

“The colloquium is an opportunity for researchers to share their findings with the UALR campus and the wider community,” said Dr. Michael R. Twyman, director of the Institute.

Several of the grant recipients will share the results of their research during the event.
