Alumni Spotlight: Travis Rowan

We want to recognize Travis Rowan for his outstanding accomplishments and continued support of CSSC.
Travis “Tre’ Day” Rowan began his radio career in 1996. His radio career advanced quickly with time slots at #1 every day. His radio name Tre’ Day was given to him by his basketball team after scoring 11 three-pointers in one game. Tre’ is an alum of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he interned in KIPR (92.3FM).
Tre’ was also a 4.0 student graduating Summa Cum Laude, an accomplishment of which he is most proud. In 2008, Tre’ was announced “one of the top 30 broadcasters in America, under 30 years old” by Radio & Records Magazine by the Edison Media Group and recently awarded the 2019 Marconi Award for Medium Market Station of the Year Power 92 Jams – 92.3 FM In Little Rock.
When Tre’ Day is not on the radio, he enjoys to travel, work out, play sports, surf, produce voice packages, and spend time with family and friends.
