More than 600 people attended the 5th annual SpectacUALR Oct. 10, at UALR’s Jack Stephens Center, helping to raise more funds for Trojan Athletics than in any previous year.
With Dr. John Wilson as the honoree and Windstream as the presenting sponsor, the fundraiser grossed more than $220,000 for athletics programs. SpectacUALR included unique items for bid through live and silent auctions.
Trojan fans are invited to attend the next “Meet the Trojans” event, scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the Jack Stephens Center. Athletes will sign autographs and compete in a three-point shootout and slam dunk contest. Basketball season tickets will also be available at the event.
