About this Guide
The purpose of this guide is to provide tips for students who are using Blackboard with assistive technologies. UALR is currently using Blackboard Campus Edition 8. This page was written specifically for this version of Blackboard and may not be applicable for other versions. Blackboard® has expressed a commitment to repairing accessibility issues. Therefore, this guide will continue to evolve as we receive updates and patches. All problems listed in the “known problems” sections will be forwarded to the BAIG (Blackboard Accessibility Interest Group). This group provides this feedback to representatives of Blackboard®. Please assist us in keeping this information fresh by reporting any inconsistencies that you find to Melanie Thornton at mpthornton@ualr.edu.
