Our House Executive Director and Donaghey Scholars Progam alumna Georgia Mjartan was featured on NBC’s Rock Center on November 29. During the interview, Mjartan spoke to Ann Curry about the increasing need for shelters specifically geared toward homeless working families. Mjartan was a 2002 graduate of the program and a Whitbeck Award Winner. She was also UALR’s first George Mitchell Scholar. She has been the Director at Our House for seven years and is one of the Donaghey Scholars currently featured in UALR’s Grads @ Work campaign.
