Donaghey Scholar Places First in Chemistry at INBRE Conference

Fourth year Donaghey Scholar Saad Azam won first place in chemistry for his presentation this weekend at the INBRE (IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence) conference in Fayetteville, October 18-19. The project, “High-Throughput Electrochemical Characterization of Fuel Cell Catalysts”, was the result of a summer internship at the California Institute of Technology’s Jet Propulsion Lab. Azam is the president of the UALR chapter of the American Chemical Society and a recent recipient of NASA Space Grant Work Force Development Fellowship.Well done, Saad!
