Our Mission

UA Little Rock Downtown fosters community connections and provides space to exchange, debate, and implement ideas that contribute to building a more just and equitable world.

Vision

UA Little Rock Downtown is where University students, faculty, and staff meet with the public to discuss, exchange, and implement ideas that aim to make our world a more just and equitable place for all. We serve as a hub of learning, service, and collaborations across the lines of scholarly disciplines, fields of community activism, and individual backgrounds. We promote and engage in projects and initiatives that aim to foster healthy, strong, and well-informed communities.

As the steward of Joe Jones’s mural Struggle in the South, we recognize that history always shapes the present and that we cannot build a better future without exploring and understanding the past.
