Wednesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. (Sturgis Hall)
In partnership with UA Little Rock Downtown

Join the Clinton School of Public Service and UA Little Rock Downtown for a panel discussion with Vote Run Lead, a nonprofit organization that trains women to run for political office and win.

The panel will include Erin Vilardi, founder and CEO of VoteRunLead; Piper Perabo, actor, activist, and advisor to VoteRunLead; and Nsé Ufot, Executive Director of The New Georgia Project. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. April Chatham-Carpenter, interim director for the School of Public Affairs at UA Little Rock.

Vilardi first launched VoteRunLead as Vice President of Program and Communications at The White House Project, where she served as the VP of Program and Communications. She has served as a Leadership Development Consultant for a range of clients, including Fortune 100 companies, global girls’ initiatives and the U.S. Department of State, reaching women leaders in a dozen international cities.

Perabo is a Golden Globe-nominated actress currently working on Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.” Perabo has been seen in such films as The Prestige, Because I Said So, Cheaper by the Dozen, Looper, and Coyote Ugly.

Ufot is executive director of the New Georgia Project and its political arm, the New Georgia Project Action Fund, a voter registration organization founded by Stacey Abrams when she was a Democratic leader in the state House. Ufot emigrated from Nigeria to Atlanta as a kid, graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Dayton Law School and was previously an executive at Canada’s largest faculty union and a lobbyist for the American Association of University Professors.
