The Systems Analyst/Programmer formulates and defines system scope and objectives. They will develop and modify procedures and software to facilitate business requirements. They are expected to perform project tasks such as software development, software implementation, application maintenance, application troubleshooting, software upgrades, software testing, and custom report writing in individual and team member roles. The Systems Analyst/Programmer should be able to manage multiple projects and to work closely and effectively with co-workers and end-users.   • Assisting in the development, implementation, installation and testing of applications software
  • Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Installing hardware and peripheral components
  • Loading appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components, and office applications
  • Assisting in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements
  • Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff
  • Providing support in a timely manner to end users by telephone, online or in person by responding to requests for technical support related to business applications and systems issues
  • Investigating user problems and needs, identifying their source, and recommending possible solutions
  • Troubleshooting software/hardware related issues
  • Using/testing/deploying new technology


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field
  • One year plus of proven computer programming experience in one or more of the following: C++, C#,, Visual Studio, HTML, or other web-based programming language
  • One year of relational database experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Healthcare or Healthcare insurance documentation is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with PC, laptop, and application support in Windows 7
  • Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to produce work in a timely manner
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
