Entergy must perform a critical repair on our electrical primary distribution loop, which in turn will cause a power outage to a majority of the buildings on the UALR campus. This repair will be scheduled to minimize, as much as possible, the effects on your departments.
We believe a Sunday morning date would be the best time, and the duration of the outage is expected to be in the range of 6 hours. The date scheduled with Entergy for this repair is Sunday, October 17th, starting at 7:00 am.
If this date of Sunday October 17th, will cause significant issues within your applicable departments, please contact Sandra Vail.
Again, the majority of buildings on the UALR Campus will experience a power outage during this repair; the only exceptions are the following: Stephen’s Event Center, Reynolds, Bailey Center, EIT, Housing, Communications and University Services.
