UALR Professor to give Keynote Address at the Data Quality Asia Pacific Congress in Australia

Dr. John R. Talburt, Professor of Information Science and Coordinator for the Information Quality Graduate Program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, will give the opening keynote address “What have we learned about information quality in the past 25 years?” at the Data Quality 2013 Asia Pacific Congress, March 5-7, 2013, in Sydney, Australia. Held annually since 2005, the Data Quality Asia Pacific Congress brings together expert speakers in data quality and master data management from around the world.  In addition to his keynote, Dr. Talburt will also be giving a 1/2 day workshop to conference participants titled “Introduction to Entity Resolution and Strategies for Identity Management.”

In addition to speakers and case studies, the Data Quality Asia Pacific Award is given each year to recognize outstanding achievements in the field of data quality, celebrate the principles that define the discipline, and highlight emerging trends.  Past winners include ACT Health (2011) and Accor Hospitality (2010).  The 2012 winner will be announced at the Sydney Conference.
