Mini Professional Development Series at Ottenheimer Library
Beginning March 2, Ottenheimer Library is starting up the Mini Professional Development Series for Spring 2022. This semester, MPDS will focus on open educational resources, affordable learning content, accessibility, gamification as well as the importance of diversity, representation, and inclusion in the classroom. Videos will be posted from March 2 – April 20.

A Conversation with Faculty on Their Experience with Course Reading Lists — Thursday, March 10th, 12:30-1:30
Starting in Fall, 2021 four faculty members at UALR partnered with Ottenheimer Library to participate in the library’s pilot for course reading lists, which is a tool now available in Blackboard. In this session, four faculty members will speak on their experience using course reading lists in their course(s), how they utilized them, student feedback, and more. OE-ARkansas: Free Online Conference – Friday, March 11
Created by librarians at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville, OE-Arkansas is an annual statewide gathering of librarians, faculty, and administrators interested in learning about open education and pursuing open educational initiatives for their respective institutions. The 2022 meeting is being hosted by the SouthArk Library at South Arkansas Community College, and will take place virtually on Friday, March 11, from 9:20 am – 3:30 pm. Register for OE-ARkansas.
