Student Spotlight: Heath’s grant for Sequoyah National Research Center funded

SNRC photo-useMAIS student Ashley Heath served as a Graduate Assistant for the Sequoyah National Research Center during her graduate studies.  As part of her work there, she wrote a grant proposal for the Arkansas Humanities Council which was recently funded. The Microfilm Preservation Project will allow SNRC to preserve, re-label, and properly catalog all of the existing microfilm that it owns.

Ashley is studying English and Art History in MAIS, and she is currently working on an interdisciplinary thesis using literary analysis, art history, and history of science to analyze Percy Bysshe Shelley’s Prometheus Unbound.
