Thank you for wanting to know more information about UALR’s BA in Interdisciplinary Studies – Online (BAIS Online) degree program. We are excited about this program because it will help students, like yourself, complete their education without having to leave home.
This program is an interdisciplinary approach to university studies. The program allows the student to combine aspects of several academic disciplines both within and outside of the College of Arts, Letters, and Sciences. The program requires 60 hours in addition to the UALR core curriculum requirements. The major must include 18 hours of study in three emphasis areas (54 hours total), as well as Reasoning Across the Disciplines (IDST 3350) and the Interdisciplinary Studies Capstone (IDST 4350).
