UA Little Rock will soon be making enhancements to enable users of Office 365 to log in with same password they currently use with university computers. This enhancement will provide a simpler and more streamlined method for accessing Office 365.

Students and employees will no longer need to go through the multi-step account creation process. As a new user, the seamless experience will only require students, faculty, and staff to simply sign in.

As a refresher, Office 365 is a communication and collaboration service hosted by Microsoft which is offered to current students and employees for personal use at no cost to them.

Office 365 includes a local installation of the Microsoft Office Suite of products on up to five separate computers. Some of the tools provided include Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive applications, as well as access to the online versions of the software.

The applications supporting these services and data are hosted in data-centers owned and managed by Microsoft.

This is one of many ongoing technology improvements to the UA Little Rock campus community.
