Project One will Go-Live with Cohort 1 on the July 1 launch of Workday!
The Workday installation is an iterative process in which the UA Little Rock Project One team has been working collaboratively with the University of Arkansas System Project One Team and other UA System institutions, to design the Workday solution to be as common as possible and as different as necessary.
Workday is a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that will replace and modernize the core functions for finance, human capital, payroll, and student administration for all 19 campuses within the University of Arkansas System. It will replace Banner at UA Little Rock for these core functions except for student administration which is scheduled for implementation in 2021.
End-to-end testing was completed March 20, payroll testing is underway, and user acceptance testing (UAT) began March 30. UAT involves hands-on verification for select institution users and working through business processes as a team to make sure the process flow is correct.
Keep informed of progress by visiting the Office of the Chancellor’s UA Little Rock Workday webpage where you will find weekly updates that will include timelines, training information, and definitions as well as other information leading to our go-live date. The presentation Workday is on the Way! also provides a helpful overview of the project and highlights some of the major benefits of the new ERP software.
