ScholarshipUniverse expands access to internal/external scholarship programs

The new software is now a one-stop-shop where students apply for all institutional and private scholarships beginning in October 2021.

In partnership with academic departments across campus, more and more scholarship programs will be integrated into ScholarshipUniverse until every scholarship the University offers is contained within one software.

Possibly the most exciting feature of the new software is the availability of outside, third-party scholarships within the system. ScholarshipUniverse contains thousands of scholarship opportunities from a plethora of sources and UA Little Rock students will have the opportunity to search and apply for those scholarships. Scholarships range all the way from $500 up to $5000. Scholarship eligibility could be based on academic merit, academic program, or the students financial need.

Students will be able to build a scholarship profile that ScholarshipUniverse uses to match them to scholarships for which they may be eligible. The more profile questions you answer, the more scholarships you might be matched to now and in the future. Awards can typically be combined with other merit scholarships and financial aid awards. However, a student may not receive aid that exceeds their cost of attendance. If a student is offered aid that exceeds their cost of attendance they will be considered over-awarded.
