In celebration of Mediation Week, the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law is hosting a panel discussion showcasing the multiple ways that mediation is currently being used in Arkansas. This will be an interactive two-hour session facilitated by Professor Kelly Browe Olson.
Questions will be submitted in advance by students, staff, and faculty and also taken from the floor. The alternative conflict resolution areas that will be highlighted are:
- Federal Court Settlement Conference
- Civil Settlement Negotiation
- Administrative Law Mediation
The event will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Friday Courtroom with refreshments afterwards in the Legal Clinic area.
