Curriculum Vitae<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry Lah<\/strong> joined the Bowen library staff as a Reference Assistant in 2019. He became Acquisitions and Serials Librarian\/Assistant Professor of Law Librarianship in January, 2022. Prior to entering law school, Professor Lah gained extensive experience in librarianship and archiving while employed at the Arkansas State Library, the Arkansas State Archives, and the Riley-Hickingbotham Library at Ouachita Baptist University. He takes pride in embracing new technology and in working to develop new techniques and approaches in law librarianship, as well as assisting with research and patron\/student service needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An innovative and visible presence in his area of study, Professor Lah has played an active and contributing role in various special projects and assignments. These include the reestablishment and rededication of the archiving and organization of the papers of the late Senator John L. McClellan at Ouachita Baptist University, as well as serving as a panelist at the 2018 conference of the American Society of Archivists in Washington, D.C., highlighting his work on the digitization and historical preservation of the Rohwer Japanese Internment Camp in McGehee, Arkansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Lah is a 2011 graduate of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University (OBU) in 2016, graduating cum laude and earning a double major in History and Secondary Education, and a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of North Texas (UNT) in 2019. Professor Lah received a Juris Doctorate degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law in December 2023, and became a member of the Arkansas Bar in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having devoted his adult life to education and research, Professor Lah remains committed to providing students with the knowledge, skills, and values it takes to function and succeed in today\u2019s ever changing legal environment. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the American Association of Law Libraries, the American Library Association, the Arkansas Library Association, the Society of American Archivists, and the Arkansas Historical Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is also an avid reader and a collector of books and vinyl records.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
