The Ottenheimer Library invites UA Little Rock students to apply for the Karen Russ Memorial Award for Excellence in Research. The award amount is $500 and can be used for any education-related expenses, such as books, fees, room and board, etc. To be eligible for this award, you must use, apply, or visualize government data in your research project that will be presented during the 2021 UA Little Rock Student Research and Creative Works Expo on April 16, 2021.
The Ottenheimer Library established the Karen Russ Memorial Award for Excellence in Research in honor of our late colleague, Karen Russ. Karen served as the government documents librarian for over 20 years and assisted UA Little Rock students and faculty in research, specializing in government information, data, and statistics.
We invite you to submit an application for the award. As part of the application process, a list of resources must be submitted, formatted in APA Style. Resources will be verified that government resources have been consulted and used in the research. Applications are due by April 11, 2021.
