Open Education Week, Ottenheimer Library, in collaboration with STaR, Presents:
A Conversation with Faculty on Their Experience with Course Reading Lists
Starting in Fall, 2021 four faculty members at UALR partnered with Ottenheimer Library to participate in the library’s pilot for course reading lists, which is a tool now available in Blackboard. In this session, four faculty members will speak on their experience using course reading lists in their course(s), how they utilized them, student feedback, and more.
Day: Thursday, March 10th
Time: 12:30 – 1:30
Background Information: Course Reading Lists are an online tool that support the creation and management of course resource reading lists within Blackboard. Instructors can build, maintain, and share resource lists that include all material types, from physical items in the library’s catalog to database articles to online videos to OER content. Library staff can interact with course resources and reading lists to provide materials through acquisitions, course reserves, and digitization. Students can access all course materials in one place and from any device.
