Dr. Linda Dorn is a Professor of Reading at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock and is Director of the Center for Literacy, where she manages the development, implementation, and research of six literacy initiatives. She is the founder and lead trainer for the Partnership in Comprehensive Literacy Model and the Comprehensive Intervention Model, which are currently implemented in hundreds of schools across the United States. Linda is recognized nationally for her contributions to literacy education and has presented at over 300 conferences at international, national, and state levels, including keynote and featured presentations. Her publications include eight books and over 40 articles and book chapters on literacy instruction. Her most recent publications are Changing Minds, Changing Schools, Changing Systems (co-edited with Forbes, Poparad, & Schubert) and Apprenticeship in Literacy, 2nd edition (co-authored with Jones).
