Graduate Programs

Studying mathematics and statistics allows students to develop and strengthen superior analytical skills and problem-solving abilities that are valued by all employers. UA Little Rock offers several advanced programs of study:

In addition, our department is part of an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Applied Science which includes four areas – Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Learn more about the Applied Science Ph.D with a concentration in Applied Mathematics and Statistics.

Our graduates have found jobs throughout Arkansas in education, health care, and private industry as teachers, statisticians, actuaries, mathematicians, and more. Others have continued their education in Ph.D. programs at UA Little Rock and across the nation. We strive to accommodate and help our students succeed in our program, department, and beyond. If you have any questions, please email the graduate coordinator, Dr. Annie Childers.
