Getting Started

Follow the steps below to begin your successful journey to complete your degree at UALR:

  1. Apply for admissions to UALR.
  2. Send transcripts for both your military training and from any other college to the following address:

      Office of Admissions

      Little Rock, AR 72204
  3. Apply for your tuition assistance. To Apply the TA Request for the Navy, follow the steps below:
    1. Go to the “Navy College” and log into WebTA.
    2. Access “MyEducation.”
    3. Assemble personal and course information.
    4. Create a TA Application.
    5. Contact Navy College Email:
      Voice Mail: 850-473-6063, DSN 753-6063 or review the WebTA User Guide for Sailors if you need any help.

Actions After TA is Approved

Once you are approved for Federal Tuition Assistance (TA), do the following:

  • Submit TA approved classes to the UALR Student Accounts Office:
    1. in person, take to the Student Services Center (SSC), Rm 120, or
    2. by email to with a subject of “Tuition Assistance Approval,” or
    3. by fax to (501) 569-8049

UA Little Rock Office of Military Student Success

Personnel in the Office of Military Student Success will assist you and your eligible dependents with the filing of required documents for educational benefits with the Veterans Administration.

Our Assistant Director of Military Student Success is the primary School Certifying Official for UA Little Rock.
