Senior Whitney Kerth earned her eighth career Sun Belt Conference Runner of the Week honor after leading the UALR women’s cross country team at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Saturday.  Kerth was the top Trojan finisher and helped lead the team to a 10th place finish out of 36 teams.

The Perryville, Ark., native placed fourth out of 275 runners recording a time 18:03.28 over the 5K course.

Kerth is the only male or female cross country athlete at UALR to garner eight career Sun Belt Conference Runner of the Week accolades. This is the second honor she has earned this season.
