Campus Campaign Chugs Toward 50 Percent Goal
Despite uncertain economic times, the people of UALR are expressing their belief in and support for the University by exceeding last year’s Campus Campaign total and pushing towards this year’s goal of 50 percent participation.
The latest figures show the following campus units have reached 100 percent participation:
- Construction Management
- Budget Office
- Sequoyah Research Center
- Office of the VC – Education & Student Service
- Community School of the Arts
- Mail Services
- AVC Facilities and Services
- AVC Finance
- Office of the Chancellor
- Office of Recruitment
- Physical Plant – Administration
- Physical Plant – Maintenance
- Physical Plant – Warehouse
- EAST Lab
- Economics & Finance
- Office of Communications
- Office of Development
- Campus Life
- Physical Plant – Engineering
- Physical Plant – Grounds
“Our numbers are looking great and climbing steadily,” said Laura Dobbins, director of development who is managing the Campus Campaign under the leadership of steering committee chair Cindy Milazzo. “But we still have a way to go to reach our goal of 50 percent participation.”
The Campus Campaign is a critical component in the University’s Comprehensive Campaign, It’s Time for UALR. A strong Campus Campaign signals to the community and state that the people at UALR believe in its mission and its integral importance to the future.
