Campus Life Presents Male Lectures

Dan Renzi, who starred in MTV’s “The Real World,” will speak at noon Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Donaghey Student Center Room C as part of the Office of Campus Life’s Men’s Programming Series.

Renzi’s lecture, “Growing Up Gay in the Midwest,” tells his story of battling against his family, society, and even himself to find out what the label “gay” means to him. A witty and irreverent story-teller, Renzi goes beyond the process of “coming out” and explores issues of prejudice, diversity, and self-identity that affect every member of society.

At noon Wednesday, March 11, Stephen Grey, the director of Parent and Student Services at East Carolina University, will discuss “Becoming a Legendary Man” in DSC Room G.

Grey offers powerful, practical, and paradigm-shifting keynotes and seminars centered on his mantra that “people help support what they help create.” In addition to his keynotes and seminars, Stephen is an accomplished contributing author to publications such as “Leadership’s Greatest Hits.”

The lectures are free and open to the public.
