University Television Channel 62 is broadcasting Dr. Bob Brier’s lecture, “How the Great Pyramid was Built,” this weekend. Brier, renowned scholar of ancient Egypt, discussed one of the great mysteries – how the ancient Egyptians built the Great Pyramid – at a packed Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall on Sept. 24.

The program will be rebroadcast at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2; midnight Saturday, Oct. 3; and 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.  Sunday, Oct. 4.

Brier’s appearance at UALR was co-sponsored by the Arkansas Art Center, which currently is hosting the exhibit, “World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed.”
