UALR employees can get their cholesterol, lipid profile, glucose level, and blood pressure screened from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in conjunction with the annual Employee Benefits Fair. Call (501) 569-3188 for a free appointment, which must be scheduled in advance.

“The screenings will be conducted each day in the Health Services office located across from the UALR Bookstore from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 to Friday, Oct. 2,” said Marie Sandusky, director of Health Services. “If you have QualChoice insurance, please bring your QualChoice membership card with you on the day of your appointment.”

Door prizes include gift certificates, food certificates, notebook portfolio, overnight bags, T-shirts and many more will be given away. Grand door prize is a Kodak Digital Camera. Fresh fruit, bagels, hot dogs, soft drinks, popcorn, and cookies will be served throughout the fair.

Representatives of TIAA-CREF, Fidelity Investments, QualChoice, Delta Dental, Social Security Administration, MetLife (Cancer/Critical Illness vendor), edocAmerica, EAP (Employee’s Assistance Program), CNA (long-term care), Liberty Mutual (auto/home insurance), Superior Vision, UNUM (Long-term disability carrier), and many more will be available in Ledbetter Hall Rooms A, B, and C in the Donaghey Student Center.
