The new multipurpose center at 333 President Clinton Ave. includes a reflection room with a historic mural by American painter Joe Jones and lecture space with state-of-the-art video conferencing technology. New website commemorates American Indians, Alaska Natives in WWI

In commemoration of the centennial of the World War I, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Sequoyah National Research Center has published the website “American Indians in World War I” in partnership with the United States World War I Centennial Commission. The website – ww1cc.org/americanindian –  commemorates the service of 12,000 American Indians and Alaska Natives who served in the war, mostly as volunteers. Back to school for future doctor

Quinshell Smith graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December with two degrees – a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in biology, but she’s not ready to leave campus yet.
