Trojans Fete Athletics Icon Betty Jo Stephens

UALR is throwing a birthday party for Trojan women sports pioneer and 2010 Alumni Association Presidents Award winner Betty Jo Stephens at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. The party will be held before home game between the Trojans, the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Champion, and the Missouri State Lady Bears at Jack Stephens Center.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, for Carolyn Larson Harman, the 85-year-old daughter of John A. Larson, the founder and first president of Little Rock Junior College, UALR’s predecessor institution.
