Gradfest, ‘one-stop shop’ for graduation, set for Oct. 12-13

A University of Arkansas at Little Rock graduate holds his diploma during commencement.

Gradfest, a “one-stop shop” for all things graduation, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 12-13, in the Donaghey Student Center between Health Services and the UALR Bookstore.

Caps and gowns will be available for purchase, and orders can be made for official UALR class rings and UALR personalized graduation announcements.

The radio station, 106.7 The Ride, will be on site to broadcast the event live.

Registration representatives also will be in attendance to inform students about graduation applications and commencement information.

Alumni Association representatives will be available to chat with students about membership benefits, personalized bricks, and college license plates.

During the event, students may enter for a chance to win a $300 UALR graduate package, consisting of a cap and gown, personalized brick, alumni T-shirt, alumni license plate frame, and official UALR diploma frame.

To enter the contest, visit UALR BOSS online to fill out a graduation survey. Under the student services menu, click on “Answer A Survey” to complete the survey.
