“Opera Scenes” rescheduled for April 24

The “Opera Scenes” performances on Friday, April 7, and Sunday, April 9, have been canceled.

The event is rescheduled for Monday, April 24, and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the Fine Arts building.

Scene reenactments will be performed by students Hannah Blacklaw, Kyra Hatley, Andrew Gerstenberger, Kelly Singer, Alyssa Hicks, and Daniel Foltz-Morrison.

These students will work to execute segments of well known pieces including Mozart’s “The Magic Flute,” Bizet’s “Carmen,” and Donizetti’s “The Elixir of Love.”
